There is no hope for doing perfect research (Griffiths, 1998, p97).

I do not agree that there is hope for doing perfect research in any field or venture in this world. The word perfect in the topic makes even worse the relevance of this pursuit of a new knowledge. The word research itself is more complicated by the tools and sources of information used to aid research. For example, the use of the internet is one way that a researcher can use to gain facts and give new conclusions. The internet itself each and every day is undergoing advancement therefore the information it gives is not even perfect. This is because the providers of the information keep on finding out new facts. In fact for nay thing to be perfect it has to be subjected to rigorous advancement to achieve at least the finer details. Therefore saying that there is hope for perfect research literally means looking forward to the end of pursuit of knowledge. This is not possible as what is relevant today might not fit into the needs of tomorrow. The next paragraphs are two examples to illustrate how perfect research can be ambiguous.

If it does exist the invention of Edison would have yielded a onetime result rendering it perfect. The whole procedure and the numerous experiments carried out in the laboratory took him quite some years leading to the eventual subscription of patent rights on the bulb. His own pursuit knowledge was not enough alone despite the milestones he had covered alone in quest of lighting the first bulb. Fascinating enough though not disqualifying his invention going by the archaeological records into the life of early man we discover the early man had...
