A MEETING AT FASCINATING KOTA KINABALU OR NATIONAL PARK

INTRODUCTION

The proposal is about a suggestion for a meeting place either at Kota Kinabalu or National Park of Pahang. Before I wrote the proposal , I had taken several steps in ensuring the proposal was suitable to the targeted users. One of the steps was to gather almost a complete data concerning the content of the proposal. I got the data from various sources. They were brochures of Kota Kinabalu , Sabah which were brought back from Sabah by my husband who had traveled there months ago , information about National Park , Pahang which were taken from Pahang State Tourist websites and blogs where bloggers who were travelers for both places noted their comments through internet. Other sources were taken from newspaper like The Star and online newspapers.

CHOICES OF PLACES

Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu , the state capital of Sabah , is the modern gateway to the rest of Sabah. Direct flights between Kota Kinabalu and the regional capitals of Kuala Lumpur , Singapore , Tokyo , Osaka , Seoul , Kaoshiung , Hong Kong , Taipei , Guangzhou , Xiamen , Shanghai in China , Sydney , manila , Manado , Balikpapan , Brunei , make Sabah easily accessible to travelers everywhere including the Swedes.

Largely destroyed during the Second World War , Kota Kinabalu has since developed into a thriving modern city. Places of interest include the State Museum, the State Mosque , the Gaya Street Fair held every Sunday morning and the “ pasar malam “ where the Swedes can polish up their bargaining skills. Nearby are the popular Tanjung Aru Beach, quaint water villages and idyllic off-shore islands.Kota Kinabalu and its surrounding are well served by world class holiday resorts and hotels for a relaxing retreat or large business conference .
