Address the needs of those living below the poverty line in our community.
Assist with mobilizing a campaign on campus for Mercer students to contribute 10,000 hours of community service toward poverty alleviation or poverty prevention measures
Tutor in Title I schools, where three-fourths of Macon’s public school students are educated.
Educate the entire student body about the causes of structural poverty, the stigma and myths associated with the poor and what sustainable measures students and citizens can take to bring resources, dignity, and hope tofellow citizens.
