These are four short parts of facts about China(People’s Republic of China). The information contained in this article was released in June, 2012.

China cover approximately 9.6 million square kilometres, and it is the world’s second-largest country. It is located east of Asia nearby the Pacific. China is also the world’s most populous country, with over 1.3 billion’s population. China has a wide range of climate from temperate in the north to tropical in the south.

The People

For thousands of years, china is always keeping the reputation that is the world’s most populous country, and it is also a important reason to china to continue and protect chinese culture. After 1950, population has a significantly increasing, because china’s history in a relatively peace environment. Then until 1970, china began family planning to control population’s quantity.

The Flag

People’s Republic of China’s national flag is the red flag which set with five yellow five-pointed stars in the upper left corner, four small stars in the flag pattern around a big star on a half-ring shape on the right side. The red face of the flag symbolizes revolution, and then five five-pointed stars and their mutual relations is a symbol of the unity of the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

Language

Chinese is one of the world’s most ancient and so far the common language of the longest language. The modern Chinese people can understand articles written by two thousand years ago. Modern Chinese is a northern dialect as the basis of language. About one fifth of the population, mainly in China, uses Chinese as mother tongue around the world. Chinese dialects may not be able to interoperability between different dialects, most people use the Chinese standard language to communicate with each other. In many other areas, there are lots of people to learn Chinese.
