Nonparametric Hypothesis Testing
Within week two learning Team (D) learned that education could make a difference in an individual’s earnings, however, more education does not always equal more pay. Other irregularities play vital roles within the workplace that can affect a person’s income. These variables brought Team (D) to week threes paper on how Females, White, and Non-Hispanic were affect within the workplace. Team (D) discovered that at times white and non-Hispanic made more than women did, especially when the employee was a male. The research did show that men do make more than women do, but it also showed that education is not the only factor that makes this so. Team (D) knows that men can make more money than women can even if the woman has more education. The reason for this is an individual’s wages is based on many factors, such as the industry one is in and the size of the organization, etc. More research is needed to determine what other deviations affect the income of men and women within the workplace.
This week Team (D) will look at the education of men and women to see how this plays a role in how much an individual makes. The research within week four will have a hypothesis statement regarding the education with men and women. A five-step hypothesis test on the data that Team (D) collects. In addition, Team (D) will explain which of the nonparametric test was used to analyze the data and the reason Team (D) chose this test. Concluding the research will be an interpretation of the results of the test, and an explanation of the differences, if there are any found from week three. A conclusion will touch on key points within this paper that Team (D) found to be important points to touch on.
