* How would you categorize the point of view [e.g., first-person, second-person (i.e., “you”), third-person limited, third-person omniscient]? I chose to read How I Met My Husband; this short story is in first-Person point of view which is told by fifteen year old teenage girl.

* Is the point of view consistent throughout the story (told from the same perspective), or does it shift at any points in the narrative? (If so, make note of when and how those changes occur.) This short story is consistent with the first person point of view, because she’s the only one telling the story and this allow us to image ourselves as readers looking through her eyes and actually imagine if we were there with her (the author)

* How does point of view shape your reading of the work? In what ways does it contribute to or detract from your reading of the work? The first person point of view allows me to be able to understand what and who is talking in the story. I am not confused if the author talking or if someone else is talking. That’s why I personal like first person.

* How does point of view relate to the story’s themes or content? The short story is about the fifteen year old girl name Edie, and she is also the person that is telling the story. I believe that this allow the readers to connect with Edie more, because she is the story.
