Educational Plan Insights
While attending Davenport University I intend to gain my Bachelor's Of Science degree with a major in Computer Gaming and Simulation. This is my 3rd semester attending Davenport. My first semester I got off to a bumpy start but quickly regain my composure and am now doing pretty good. My major has been condemned by others a being really hard to obtain. I have lots of experience with programming since I taught myself years ago. I also help make ROMs and apps for the Android smart phone in collaboration with other at the XDA-Developers forums.
My educational goals I have set forth for myself include to continue my education at Davenport. A lot of people have been telling me to finish up my education at LCC because it'll be cheaper and while they are right I don’t feel like LCC can offer me the opportunities that Davenport can provide and I feel like Davenport actually care about me learning, something that I don't think LCC takes pride in.
The classes that I look forward to taking are Global Cultures, 3D Modeling, and 3D Game Development. Global Cultures sounds like it would be a fun class to take because I love learning about new cultures and enjoy learning about the world. I really want to take 3D Modeling because it is something I've always wanted to learn but never had the time to. Plus I know it's my first steps into being a game programmer. Also I love any classes that have me working with computers. 3D Game Development is the class I’m really looking forward to. In this class I will learn everything I need to know to start designing a real game.
The classes I think I will have the most problems with are Statistic and Pr-Calculus. Math Has never been my strong point and It's just something about the classes name that has me scared. I know that if I stick to what I've learned in FRSM 100 and get help when I need it, I shouldn’t have to much to worry about.
I found out through self-assessments that I am a hands-on...
