Violence has no class

Children have a lot of things on their minds. From, what am I going to wear today? To, what are my long term career goals? They are under constant uncertainties. As parents, we have to be involved with our children in order to understand their issues. Another aspect to their lives is violence in the school setting. When many children come together in one place such as school, energy and adrenaline levels are very high which will lead to conflicts and aggressive behavior. This can manifest itself in things like bullying, peer pressures, and showing off of strength. As kids get older they can get involved in more serious things such as gangs, drugs, and firearms. School violence is a growing problem in our children’s lives and seeking alternatives for a constructive outlet is essential for the development and progress of our children and their future planning.
