Public Transport goes far beyond personal advantages and falls into the category of what it does in order to lessen the amount of pollution rising into our constantly heating atmosphere. It is very environmental friendly compared to everyone in the country using their OWN transport to get to the SAME place as other people. Why do that when for a price which ends up cheaper than what you pay in petrol can get you to the same destination in more or less the same speed, but without the unnecessary costs not only to your wallet, but to the planet as well? We needs to preserve our fossil fuels as much as we can, and public transport is a great way to begin our first baby steps towards this ultimate goal of preserving our climate.

The personal gains and advantages over taking public transport to get to your designation not only range from saving money in your wallet as you do not have to splash out for petrol, but there are also social advantages. You will be more in contact with human beings more so than you would if you were driving solo in an automobile to get to your destination, and in turn would be tempted to use your mobile phone while driving. Resorting to using your mobile phone while driving increases the risk of a car accident by a VERY high percentage, meaning you are unsafe on the road and are endangering not only yourself, but your fellow drivers and pedestrians also.

By using public transport such as a bus, you are freely able to use your mobile phones without any risk as long as you are not distracting and disturbing the bus driver. This gives you more freedom of what you do, while at the same time increasing your morale due to being able to talk to people traveling with you and over the phone. It also lessens the toll the planet is taken in the form of global warming, so in turn, EVERYONE is a winner. If only the government would work with more work places to include Bus Routes to the work place, then everything would be a lot easier on everyone.
