Egyptian Mythology;

Egyptian methodology starts from the birth of a god emerging from the sun, whose name is referred to as Atum. Atum is the sun god over the city of Heliopolis where he arose from the chaotic waters around him called Nu. While standing in the watery chaos of Nu, Atum created a hill for his temple. The temple was in representation of the light into the darkness of the future. The Egyptian god is unisex and is considered to be bisexual. Although considered by many to be male, the Egyptian god is referred to as the “Great He-She.”

The Egyptian god gave birth to “its” son by spitting him out, and also gave birth to a daughter by vomiting her out. References also say that the children were the hill that Atum created in the beginning. Shu was the son and he was the god of air, while Tefnut the daughter and she was the goddess of moisture. Both children from the creator continued to create the line of creation together. Unfortunately, both children continued to get lost in the watery chaos themselves. Their creator who only had one eye to see from then removed his eye in search of his children. The eye that was sent after his children is often referred to the Udjat eye.

While Atum sent out his eye to find his children in the watery chaos of the land, Atum waited for any word of their persons. Within a short time the eye returned with the children and thus Atum cried with joy of their return. In turn, the place where the tear drops had dropped established the start and the creation of men from the weeping’s Atum. All in all, with Atum and his children Shu and Tefnut in toe, Atum was ready to start the overall creation of the world. Continually, Shu and Tefnut gave birth to two children named Geb, the earth, and Nut, the sky. Soon after, Geb and Nut became the parents of Osiris, Isis, Set, and Nephthys who also...
