Introduction/ Overview of the Study

Computer gives you a different feeling about what is happening in the company. Business will be highly competitive and innovative because the computer provides instant information (Faloran, 2005).

Automation of time attendance that records the time in and time out tends to eliminate the manual recording system of time and attendance (Aquilan, 2004).

The Flex and Motion Fitness Gym has two kinds of session, the daily session and the monthly session. In daily session, it has no time limit in a particular schedule, morning or afternoon, without diet plan and it cost forty five pesos (₱45) in just one day. In monthly sessions, it has no time limit in a particular schedule, morning or afternoon, it has full program of diet plan, and it cost four hundred fifty pesos (₱450) in whole month.

All the records of Flex and Motion Fitness Gym’s members were stored in a cabinet and all the members should login and logout before entering and leaving the gym in a logbook. And because of this routine, Flex and Motion Fitness Gym experiences problems on searching the record of a member for verification of their balances that can consume a lot of time for scanning the records and on the security of all the records in the cabinet that can cause loss of confidentiality. The Instructor cannot monitor properly the attendance of the members, therefore some members are extending the days of their workout. These problems can affect the flow of the business and may lead to bankruptcy.

It is for reason that the researchers proposed a Computerized Attendance and Payment Management System for them to solve the problems of the Gym.
