Kudler Fine Foods-Frequent Shopper Program Eva Manicom ENG/221 Technical Writing Fundamentals Charles Steepleton February 23, 2009 Kudler Fine Foods wants to develop a program that rewards their returning customers for their loyalty. The program that Kudler Fine Foods wants to develop is the Frequent Shoppers Program. This program would allow their customers to build loyalty points that can be use for high-end gifts. Some of the high-end gifts would be first-class upgrades on airlines, and specialty foods from Kudler Fine Foods (Apollo, Sales and Marketing, 2004). Kudler Fine Foods will track the customer’s purchases in order to determine who is eligible for the gifts. The tracking of the customer’s purchases will let Kudler Fine Foods see what products their customers like the most. Once Kudler’s has a better understanding of the items their customers like, Kulder can adjust their buying procedures. When they adjust their buying procedures they will save time and money because they will only purchase those items their customer’s enjoy. The sales team can use this data to help with the products profit margin. This analysis will be done in the first quarter of business. Along with the analysis done in the stores, a direct mailer will be sent to the high-income zip codes (Apollo, Sales and Marketing, 2004). The new program might need new business software and hardware components. Once the parameters have been decided on the Sales and marketing team can determine the necessary course that must be taken to make the Frequent Shoppers Program a success. Another way that Kudler Fine Foods could expand the customer base is to offer the Frequent Shopper Program online. An online business can reach a plethora of people who will allow a business to grow without having to build a new facility.
