Ross - SWOT Analysis

As a mutual fund manager, I will be going over some of the most common things that are evaluated when a company is considering investing in a business or not. I will be conducting a SWOT analysis for the company that I have chosen. Along with the SWOT analysis I will be identifying their internal and external stakeholders and what their needs are. All of the above items are key things that are what will help determine if the company is a good investment.

A SWOT analysis is an extremely beneficial tool in determining what issues a company has and what they need to overcome in order to stay ahead in the business market. “A SWOT analysis is a tool that identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of an organization. Specifically, SWOT is a basic, straightforward model that assesses what an organization can and cannot do as well as its potential opportunities and threats. The method of SWOT analysis is to take the information from an environmental analysis and separate it into internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external issues (opportunities and threats)”.
