Leadership Traits
When we talk about leadership traits, it means characteristics that a leader must possess in
order to influence the followers. It might be intern of personality or a person’s behavior.
Personality is a great affecting factor because it has to deal with emotional thought, feeling, and
behavior pattern of a leader in which the follower believes to be true. In many cases, followers
tend to trust a leader with a stable emotional and thought. In case of a bad situation, they know
that there is someone out there who can lead or solve the problem. Due to this fact, the leader
gains the follower’s interest. In other words, if followers notice that a leader is emotionally
unstable and his or her thoughts are not right in an uncertain situation they tend to look
somewhere else for their solution regardless if their present leader is active. Therefore
personality traits play a vital role in leadership process for this reason one being able to identify
those traits in order to put the right people in leadership position, using five factor model which I
believed to be true can be used or apply in an organization.
Intelligence
Intelligence is a mind thing that comprises of many related abilities to process information,
plan, solve problems, and comprehend ideas and language likewise fast learners. Intelligence
beyond merely book learning or academic skills as most people thought, rather it reflect
analytical, practical and creative aspect. This has a lot to do with the leadership process, as we all
know that the greater the intelligence of a leader, the greater or the better the decision he or she
