Introduction

The purpose of this paper is to do a psychological profile on my brother by exploring questions asked on the objective personality test at http://similarminds.com/jung_word.html. In addition I too will take the test and explore the differences between my brother’s answers and mine. I will also ask him some of my own questions and explore those differences between us as well. I will also evaluate the Myers Brigg test personality assessment for accuracy based on what I perceive to be true.

Does the interviewee remember information more accurately if he/she observes the behavior being performed or does he/she prefer to read how the behavior is performed?

For me it wouldn’t matter which method I used to learn. The key to my memory retention is the amount of interest I have in the behavior. I’m inclined to believe observing a behavior is more rewarding then reading about one and therefore may lend itself to better memory retention. Again, my emphasis would be focused on the amount of interest I have in the behavior I’m learning about.

My subject felt observing the behavior being performed would be his preference and that an actual visual would be easier to remember then reading about it. His reasoning was when he reads many times...
