The key stakeholders within the Riordan Manufacturing Company that I would gather requirements from would be management and all the way down to the employees. I would hold a focus group with the entire staff to decipher what are the company’s current business challenges and future requirements this will as help me identify the company’s current and future business process flow.

Once this is done key requirements which were gathered during the focus group will be consolidated into what will be foundation of the new system Riordan Manufacturing Company. The analysis tool I would propose for this project would be SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) “The systems development life cycle (SDLC) is a conceptual model used in project management that describes the stages involved in an information system development project, from an initial feasibility study through maintenance of the completed application.” (searchsoftwarequality) this step by step model will assist Riordan Manufacturing while implementing this fundamental business system.

* Existing System: Evaluating Riordan Manufacturing existing system this will help identify any deficiencies this information can be acquired by consulting with IT personnel and any users of the system.

* New System: All of the requirements of the new system will be specified and will include requirements to improve the current system deficiencies.

* Proposed System: The discussed plans for the new system will be put together it will include anything concerning the physical construction, hardware, operating systems, programming, and security issues.

* Development: The new system will be implemented once a few tests are run. Users will be trained on how to use the system at this point it will allow the company to perform of performance test in which adjustments can be made at this stage...
