Regardless of the subject matter, it is difficult to earn an A in a High School
class unless, you put forth some effort. Grades are not handed out to students, they
must earn them. In order to earn an A, a student must be willing to go the extra mile.
To receive an A in English class you must be prepared, pay attention, and go to
tutoring.
If you come to class being prepared you will have no worries. You will be
able to do your work. If you are prepared by bringing a pencil or pen and some paper,
you won’t lose points because some teachers take off points for not having supplies.
not only being prepared is helpful but paying attention can help you out also.
Paying attention is the most important, because you can learn something new, and if
you pay attention when you learn that new subject it will help you do your class work
and you will be able to pass a test or a quiz that is unexpectedly given. Above all being
prepared, paying attention, but tutoring can be a major plus.
Tutoring is helpful by giving you a chance to make up work if you were absent.
it is also helpful by getting individual assistance. Your teacher will be able to help you
understand it more if its just the teacher and you. Instead of you, the teacher and thirty
other students. Then you will be able to know more about the topic and you will be
able to do work and pass your six weeks exams. It can also give you extra credit when
you really need it.
You will face several tests throughout your life, your drivers test, college tests,
and work test are just a few. High school can prepare you for these exams by instilling
good work habits. You learn good work habits by being prepared, paying attention,
and going to tutoring. If you prepare, it gives you more confidence and takes away
some of the anxiety.
