I think the best National Tourism Organization Strategy is Mexico’s. Beginning with Mexico’s placement of tourism as a national priority, it progressed into making new international trade agreements. It shows they are striving to portray their country in a newer, better light, and likely Mexico has been unfairly judged and biasedly ignored not seen by many as one of the best places for tourism. I like their policies of foreign owned tourism-related economic activities which will draw people from other countries to take advantage of the opportunity therefore adding even more to the country’s economic growth. Another thing surely of interest to foreign businesses/investors is Mexico will allow the movement of profits made in a business or investment in their country, from another country, back into that country from which they originated. That is, if a United States corporation does business in Mexico and makes a profit, we are free to move those monies (repatriate) from Mexico back to the United States. I think this is a very smart move for Mexico, as for this reason alone, they can increase their profits. Mexico is a country people love to go to, from the simple, historical towns to the well-advertised luxurious vacation resorts. If other countries set up business within these places, it can improve the smaller towns, and it can as always try to top those attractions, hotels, etc., in the bigger resorts, as usual, vying for the business.
