ING bank has also established the ING Direct Cafés located in multiple cities. In addition, ING bank has accumulated customers in over 50 countries. ING Bank can be considered a bank of the future. Since ING Directs online banking concept was introduced to the United States in 2000, the company has grown to become this country's largest savings bank which has led millions of people back to saving. ING is a bank that truly relies on telecommunications because it is accessible only by postal mail, over the phone, or by the internet. Instead of having traditional office branches with lines, ING Direct chose to create internet cafés where customers can experience ING Direct and enjoy a cup of coffee. Some of these cafes are located in Los Angeles, Manhattan, Philadelphia, Chicago, Honolulu, St. Cloud, and Wilmington. As an added bonus, café workers are not limited to whipping up lattes; they are also able to provide general information on the company's savings, mortgage, loan, and mutual fund products. By looking at the structure of the company, it is absolutely clear that the company relies heavily on telecommunications to provide services to customers.
