The term training refers to the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of teaching vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies (Wikipedia). Since this is a fact, different articles of training must be discussed in order to gain a better understanding of training. The articles to be discussed are employee training paying off, technology training, and team training. These subjects will explain similarities and differences, how organizations address each article’s main issues, how corporations might need to change in order to fully respond to the issues raised by each article, how the Three Forces Affecting Organizational Design in the Future impact the issues raised by each article.

The similarities between the articles began with how all have some positive aspects about them and could benefit some employees. The article employee training pays off discuss how most organizations feel that it is very important for each employee to understand the business that they work for and how it is operated. This particular importance ties into the Team in Training article because it also mentions the importance of knowing about a particular job. An example in this article mentioned the steps that an average Joe had to take in order to show that they were ready for the job. The job training was not like the common lecture training which a person could likely read and forget. Near the end of the course there, was actual hands on training. The company wanted to ensure that anyone that was hired had hands on experience and they had to perform in a real life situation. Also, the article technology training reaches out on the subject when showing how less expensive new technology is but at the same time it is more convenient and easier to understand.
