Good morning class

Pollution: the name Pollution comes from the word “Pollute” which means to spoil, to litter and to poison.

I have learnt that Pollution is everywhere.

It is all over our planet earth.

It is visible and invisible.

Some Pollution you can’t see but you can smell.

Some Pollution you can’t see or smell but you can hear.

What I find really scary is that Pollution makes people, animals and plants sick and even kills them.

If the Human Being is responsible for causing pollution

Smog is bad in cities like Johannesburg.

It makes it harder to breathe, especially for people, like my twin and me, with asthma.

So what can we do to help?

If your family has a car, get them to use it less. Walk to the shops.

Ask your parents to use less petrol by driving their cars gently and below speed limits.

Did you know that even noise is a kind of pollution?

Very, very loud music and blaring televisions can cause hearing loss, stress and a...
