I hope MBA programme provides me with an exceptional platform for networking – and not only with fellow students, but also connecting with the business schools' extensive alumni networks throughout the world.

On ‘softer’ skills, I wish to further strengthen my quantitative and analytical skills, as these traits are very important in my profession as an engineer that is not only technically competent but also has business acumen. As I’m working in a multi-national company with colleagues located around the world and from diverse background, by taking an MBA, I hope to gain an understanding of why people in organizations behave as they do, and to become more aware of the problems stress can cause. In a way, I will be far better able to understand and respond effectively to the uncertainty and complexity that is a feature of organizational life in times of rapid change. Above all, I wish to be able to stand back from situations and 'make sense of them' in a range of different ways, reflecting different perspectives. With the number of 'conceptual experiments' and business simulation exercise throughout the MBA study, my capacity to respond to unforeseen situation will improve.

Although, in today’s world, an MBA may no longer be an exclusive qualification for those heading for the most senior ranks of management, or a guarantee of an immediate doubling of salary. But, I believe an appropriate MBA offers development in teamworking skills, time management skills and creativity.

Ultimately, I hope the effort put into pursuing an MBA will far outweigh any financial and personal costs.

Internships and employment placements, working with leading international faculty, and are all benefits of studying on an accredited MBA programme.
