Objective

The primary objective of this study is to understand and estimate the impact of withdrawing MFI activities (financing) on low income households (especially women).

Target Group: women belonging to low income households

Sub Objective

1. What are the financial needs of the TG

a. The amount of funding required by TG

b. The frequency of funding required by TG

c. The purpose for which the funding is required by TG

d. The amount of funding readily available from Formal Sector like Banks

e. The reasons for which funding is available or unavailable from Formal Sector like Banks

f. The amount of funding readily available from Informal Sector like money lenders

g. The reasons for which funding is available or unavailable from Informal Sectors like money lenders

2. How are or were the financial needs of TG met by MFI

a. How much of funding was available from MFI

b. The reasons for which MFI funding was available

3. The extent of funding available from MFI currently

a. Find the impact of unavailability of funding from MFI

4. Find the impact of AP ordinance on MFI activity in other states

a. The availability of funding from MFI before and after.

5. The perception of people/borrowers before and after the ordinance

6. The demography of borrowers
