Literature

Literature work captures my interest because literature can be broken down different formats of literature such as novels, poems, essays, and etc. Literature is defined by many different terms such as setting the tone, genre, symbols, and imagination. These terms are put into literature to explain what each one of the literature stories mean. Literature can be classified as a part of history and goes as far back as you want to be considered literature.

Literature to me is a sense of what interest you when you are reading and writing. Someone might take literature in use it as only what was told to them to be a part of history. I take literature and look at it in so many different views. When I reading poems you take the poem and break it down into different sections you pick out what the tone is of the poem which is the mood or attitude reflected in a literary work; it is important in identifying how the author approaches a subject and conveys it to readers. Which make you become familiar what the poem is trying to set your mood as while you are reading the story? Literature is also set by different types of genre which mean a type of literature prose, poetry, and drama and specific types of literature within these categories.

When reading different types of literary works you have to put your imagination within the stories to give you a better understanding what the author is trying to convince you what the reading is all about. Imagination is the human power that shapes artistic expressions: it enables a writer’s work to become expressions of meaning in our world, and allows readers to engage in identifying with what the writer’s work has to say about things that matter. I have a great imagination when reading novel or fictional stories because I take this as advantage to make since what I want the story to become or imagine it to be. Literature is a wonderful way...
