Accessing the internet, it can be resourceful, entertaining, helpful, and exciting. But Privacy is key when utilizing the internet.

Accessing the internet at home leads to accessing whatever you would like however; it is important that you access safe websites or else you are at risk for harming your pc and losing all of the data on the computer. Accessing the internet at work is a completely different aspect unless you are on break or permitted for personal use I think that the internet use at work should ONLY be work related and that is it, if you decide not to follow these guidelines it could be a terminable offense resulting in loss of a job over paying a personal bill on company time, lastly in a public setting I think that its crucial that you’re not viewing offensive or inappropriate material where everyone is able to see your screen I feel that its ethical and mature to only view the materials you would want your kids to see when in public.

As far as using the neighbors wireless is completely un ethical without permission, they are paying for that for their own use and you are “stealing” it, it’s not exactly illegal but it’s the same as someone taking your cellphone line and using as their own, it’s just wrong. I think that anyone that has wireless should have it protected with a password because if someone gets a harmful virus in the connection anyone connected to that can be affected.
