|PCs |After the microchip these standalone PC could be programmed to do whatever you wanted.|

|Network computers |These linked all of the companies individual computers so they could work together and|

| |communicate to each other. |

| |like a network but links to everyone who has internet access. |

|Wired and wireless broadband technology |These are the different modes of connecting to the internet. The first connection was|
