Chandra Naveen is one of the famous Pop singer of the youths all over the world. She had many musical achievements with immortal songs when she was young.

Naveen had an early life and education which all associated with music. She was born in Manchester, England in 1982. Her father, who was a piano teacher, guided her step by step into her career. She studied music lessons such as singing and playing piano while the others went to primary school. Then she entered local college to study song and dance when she was 16 years old. After two years, she won a scholarship to study at London College of Performing Art.

Beginning singing career in 2001, she achieved many successes. She got the Runner Up award at Pop Idol Competition in UK when she was 19 years old. One year later, Upside Down song was one of the top ten hit by Naveen and her group “Girls in Groove” performed. Then she won at the Eurovision Pop contest in 2003. At the same year, she got married with Rob Peters, who was her fellow, gave support to her career. After that, the song “Missing you” in her first solo CD reached the first position in British charts. In 2005, she continuously received double awards in Album of the Year and British Music for Best Newcomer.

Now, she is very busy with many musical projects. In fact, she and her husband are recording a new CD. Then she will take the shows in Europe and Asia, which will be her first World Tour in 2010.
