Gen/105 Detecting Plagiarism

After submitting the article to the Plagiarism Checker, I found out that it was a plagiarized paper. Subsequently, I am going to refer your paper to the University administration for further review. I am taking this action based on the outcome of the Plagiarism Checker, with the return of the paper, it was said it was 100% plagiarized and also had a link to an author whose article was exactly the same as the one turned in. If you had at least tried to put the information in your own words I would have let you off with only a bad grade and another chance to redeem yourself.
Taking the work of another and trying to pass it off as your own is dishonest because you are cheating on your assignment. It shows that you gave no effort in trying to do the work on your own and that it was easier to just copy and paste the work of someone else. This is the same as if you were to take a test and instead of studying yourself, you copy the answers off the test that one of your classmates is taking. Another example to show you the difference between right and wrong would be that if you let another student do your work for you and then you turn it in as if you had done it. We all need to be careful in the work we do as not to plagiarize the work of someone else.
