Like every other company in the world, the organization Microsoft has developed a code of ethics to direct their workers on in what way they must handling themselves while working. The Microsoft Department of Legal and Corporate Affairs is accountable for administering the Business conduct and Compliance Program and keeping workers by way of material and resources to help employees with managing corporate activities in an ethical and authorized matter. In managing this program, Microsoft’s Legal and Corporate Affairs work directly with Security, Internal Audit, Human Resources, and Finance.

The General Counsel works as Microsoft’s Chief Compliance Office with the task of managing the proposal. The General Counsel reports right to the CEO. The Director of Compliance, who is connected with the Office of Legal Compliance, communicates activities to the Chief Compliance Officer and the Audit Committee of the Microsoft Board of Directors. Their responsibility is to monitor daily supervision of the Business Conduct and Compliance Program. This duty integrates administering the Standards to particular circumstances in which inquiries could evolve.

The Finance Division of Microsoft comprises its individual code of ethics – The Microsoft Finance Code of Professional Conduct mandates top managers and workers of the finance division to work honorably and prevent conflict of interest. Partakers in the Microsoft Partner Program are required to sign a one page document that condemns unlawful replication and circulation of software and recognizes the presence of international laws that protect knowledgeable property.

As upstanding commerce managers, it is not sufficient to aim to do things correctly; they must be done in the correct way. This entails rendering choices and taking proper ethical actions in agreement with valid authorized requirements.
