STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The world of today is not the world that existed years ago- nor will it be the same tomorrow. Globalization has led the dominance of the International as well as the Domestic market as an emerging trend in the world as a whole. The globalization of 1990s wrought enormous changes in every facet of the business world, the biggest of which was introducing new variability into business relations. As a young man, I am experiencing one of the greatest reforms in Indian history and deeply impressed at changes accelerating from traditional agriculture civilization to modern industry civilization.

India has experienced tremendous expansion of opportunities in corporate world. Along with this growing opportunities increasing, importance is being given to professional expertise in the management of business and organizations. My interest in pursuing the MBA program offered by the U.S University will certainly enrich me professionally and gain the competitive edge required in today’s corporate environment.

During my academics, I always felt “Management” as a prospective approach in the corporate world. With the business spreading its hands across the border, I felt that a degree focused mainly on domestic industry would not suffice to achieve my career goals. To become a successful management professional I seek international exposure and skills in the field to have a global business perspective. Studying in the U.S University will create an opportunity that would offer me a chance to work with students and faculty from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds further enhancing my knowledge of the outside world and would broaden my vision.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid base in both theory and experience.
