Exercise 6-6 on pp. 194-196 of Critical Thinking

2) Andrea Keene's letter on fertility drugs is using the poisoning of the well fallacy. Because she is hoping by wording it like she does. It might be easy for others to arrange a negative impression of someone who uses fertility drugs. People have to be careful not to reject what people think just because we don't agree with the individual.

3) She would be using the Burden of proof fallacy by using negative proof. How being a widow is much harder than being divorced.

5) Personal attack ad hominem fallacy is being used. This person feels that they are being attacked or punished by given the area to the runners'. This will make it harder for others to have other types of out door activities.

6) Circumstantial ad hominem fallacy is used here. The protesters are not getting a set on land set aside for them to show there example of what a family should look like. They think people will think that this is what a family should look like.

8) I think that there is not a fallacy to cover this example. The sentence is just a simple state of one person option.

9) Circumstantial ad hominem fallacy is used here. The church stand on condoms and the way they think that condoms don't work. The church stand on protective sex is well known, but they way they say it here to be show this fallacy.
