SIR Statement
In your SIR Statement, describe how you want to use your MBA program to support your career aspirations. This statement should answer three questions:
1. How will you stretch yourself into uncomfortable areas where you need to develop core management and leadership skills?
2. What impact do you want to have in your job now? In what areas of your job will you apply the core MBA skills so that you can have greater impact on your organization's results?
3. How can you reposition yourself so that you are viewed as someone who is ready for greater responsibility? What is your ideal career path?
My SIR Statement:
|I will primary focus on managing a team of people and their activities, focus on day to day tasks and their skills. I want to be|
|able to demonstate solid characteristics of a manager. The impact that I want to have on my job is the respect of all the |
|employees. I want to develop high performance level in the employees and good leadership skills. I can reposition myself by |
|reaching out to the employee, and focusing on change. Recognizing that continual improvement can be achieved in their people and|
|activities can be a great step towards continued success. |
