Training objective(Purposes of Training)

Retraining applies to current employees, it is necessary when workers are not measuring up to standards, when a new method or piece of equipment is introduced, or when a worker ask for it. It takes place whenever it is a needed. Retraining employees can benefit small companies by creating a "ready-to-go" workforce capable of driving business growth, a psychologist and life coach has said. Good training will benefit the entire establishment. Training that reduces tensions, turnover, and costs and improve product, service, and guests count is certainly going to improve the company image and the bottom line.

This retraining program is to enhance the staff on Standard Operation Procedure (SOP). Make sure they are all clear with what is SOP and how is it be. As this can make the establishment runs business smoothly.

For example, as a waiter/waitress, grooming is important. One-all-important aspect of the professionalism of waiting staff is the attention they give to personal hygiene and presentation. A waiter when at work, in or out of uniform, must invariably be absolutely clean and tidy in all aspects. This is the first approach to their work. The first (visual) impression of waiting staff received by guests comes from the waiters’ appearance. First impressions are extremely important for the commercial success of an establishment.

For a telephone operator, they must speak fluent and clearly to avoid any misunderstanding from the guest. They are not allowed to use any undesirable words in a conversation on the phone, such as, Yeap, Nope, Har. They must use a proper words to show the professionalism of a telephone operator. Beside that, they must also greet the guests and say thanks you or sorry before end a conversation and hang up the phone.
