Introduction

Psychological test allows understanding on levels far beyond personality and intelligence test. It allows examination in variety areas, regardless of the issue or concern. The different psychological test has both similarity and differences that allow different suggestion and information to be gather. Understanding the definition of psychological test and its foundation is very imperative; it affects and assists in both personal and professional areas in life. Whether if it’s to identify mental disorders, select what medicine to recommended, treat mental and emotional illnesses, employing, or selecting individual’s schools, psychological test are administered by different professionals. Test has allowed the psychological field to learn and educate individuals and professionals for effective reasons to certain behavior as well as suitable resolutions to problems.

Define Test

Psychological tests are written, visual, or oral evaluations administered to assess the cognitive and emotional functioning of individuals (Psychological Test, 2012). Tests are used to measure and evaluate a multiplicity of mental capabilities and elements, including realization and ability, personality and neurological functioning. Depending on which on that will be more efficient, will determine which test the professional examiner will select to obtain measures to evaluate. Each test is design to retrieve, compile and evaluate information differently with some similarity. Depending on the issue or concern to test the individual, will determine which type of test will be assumed. Psychological test are given for an extensive variety of reasons, such as diagnosing and screening, as well as in learning setting to conclude strengths and weaknesses.
