Personalized Nutrition and Exercise Plan
The current health problem or nutritional problem that I am experiencing is low iron, along with not eating healthy foods that carry enough protein and nutrition for my body. The health problems I foresee experiencing in my future because of my family history is high blood pressure, sugar diabetes, and obesity. I think if I am alert to the health problem that I face as I get older I can figure out a better eating plan and exercise plan. I can make goals of making the right choices on my health and lifestyle so that I can do better at keeping my health right where I want it.
I have developed a realistic nutrition and exercise plan for myself following the MyPyramid Plan Web exercise. When putting in my information I found that for my height of being 5’3 and my age 30 years old I’m supposed to have a weigh of 125 pounds. Currently I weigh 144 pounds this shows me I am over weight and need to lose weight. My plan is to go for my goal to lose weight in the next 30 days I plan to initiate a better lifestyle and eating schedule for myself.
The health and nutrition problem I need to target is eating more protein enriched foods, and also maintaining my sugar intake. I say this because I have a tendency to eat lots of foods that carry large amounts of sugars. The four nutritional goals are to monitor my calorie intake by reading the labels on my foods and see what amount of sugar is in the food I am consuming. As I do read the labels I also am looking for vitamin and nutrients in each food item because the body requires these items to stay healthy and in check. After doing this the next step for me is my physical exercise goal this would start with walking after each meal.
