1. Introduction
Managing change is structurally moving people to a desired future condition (MaSparren & Motley 2010). Change, minor or major, affects the overall organizational operation. And most often, Organization leaders tend to focus on limited perspectives.
The purpose of this report is to explore the issues pertaining to the change intervention proposed at ALLCHEM Products Pte Ltd, discussing the internal and externals drivers that instigated the change and purpose of it. And, recapitulate the adaptation of strategy and strategic planning tools employed together with the assessment of alternative interventions and recommendations that ALLCHEM Pte Ltd can contemplate.
1.1. Company Background
AllCHEM Products Pte Ltd is a Singapore registered company established since 1989, specializing in turnkey industrial cleaning and plating. Using environmentally friendly water and hydrocarbon based cleaning processes.
ALLCHEM is well established in Poland and have been conducting sales of chemicals and other items from Poland into markets in Asia, with offices and warehousing facilities in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan, reaching out to the Asia market.
ALLCHEM Products have expanded and concurrently been met with challenges in regards to its increased business processes complexity, resulting in employee competencies level as well.
2. Key Issues
Reviewing business support processes
Reviewing factors that make up the business support process will help to identify the complications and thus construct the necessary change interventions. Factors include Product, Customer, Revenue and Order management.
Reviewing of employee
There is an increase in the complexity of employees’ job scope as the company is trading with different countries be it supplier or client. Employees have to deal with people of different culture and language and they may not acquire the necessary skills...
