Background of the study

As human entered the new millennium, computers affected nearly every aspect of people’s daily lives for it has given them easy access to up to date information in almost all areas.

Without a doubt, information system is virtually revolutionizing all aspects of our human lives. Through this outstanding technological advancement, many evolving automation of activities have taken place. In connection there is an increase of demand for software designers and scientist who create quality products. With the ability of the computer to process data accurately, with speed and efficiency, no doubt it had evolved as one of the most significant and important achievement of mankind ever.

The complete process of the development of the Computerized Loan Information system of Capoocan United Fisherfolk Credit Cooperative is especially designed to facilitated and simplify the monthly preparation of general loan and related reports as will as the information for each customer. This study allows a faster and more accurate computation of monthly interest. At the certain point, and this will lessen the burden of work of the management as will as the customer.

The CUFCC was build last May 2000 it was covered by the 13 Barangays composes of Zone I, Zone II, Balud, Culasian, Cabul-an, Pinamopoan, Talisay, Tolibao, Guinaduangan, Libertad, Potot, Gayad and Talairan. Presently the CUFCC has 116 members as of now.

Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to develop Capoocan United Fisherfolks Credit Cooperative Loan Information system, more specifically; it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What are the problems encountered in Loan Information system of the Capoocan United Fisherfolks Credit Cooperative?

2. What system maybe proposed to improved the Loan Information system?

3. What necessary information are needed to develop a Computerize Loan Information System?
