A Kiosk is a self-standing structure with a special use. Its usage depends on the nature of function it is designed for. Some existing kiosks are for taking pictures, withdrawing money, and buying tickets. Having a kiosk in any public or private place allows the users or clients to have their transactions conveniently.

Students exemplify the best crammer. They usually do their school works in a rush. Whenever they need their papers to be printed immediately, they still have to go to a computer shop or printing shop that takes away valuable time and energy since there are no printing services available inside the campus. Also, not all students have a printer at home. But this situation is not limited to students, but also to other individuals who need their documents to be printed immediately.

With these problems, the proponents will create a printing kiosk that will allow the user to insert flash drives and memory cards that will automatically be accessed by the printing system program that the proponents will develop. The program will only be limited to accessing DOC, DOCX, and PDF files. The program will also disable the editing functions of the documents, which usually takes the most amount of time. The user can still be able to preview the documents before printing Hence, the kiosk will only be dedicated to file selection, print preview, choosing if black only or colored, increasing and decreasing the number of copies, and printing the document. In order to gain profit, the kiosk will also be incorporating a slot machine which will only accept one peso coins. The kiosk will not proceed in printing the documents without the complete payment. With the use of a netbook with the printing system installed, an LCD monitor, a printer, a coin slot machine, and dedicated buttons, the printing kiosk will be ready to print your documents.
