Acknowledgement
First of all, On behalf of the ST.PAUL H.S. SCHOOL, INDORE, we wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sahodaya schools complex. We take this opportunity to convey our sincere thanks to Mrs Snigdha Vatsa and to Mr. Rahul. We would like to express our thanks to all the people who made our project a success.
Introduction:
Today, computers are the most widely used in all spheres of technology. The development of the modern day computer was the result of advances in technologies and man's need to quantify. The term "technology" refers to the application of knowledge for practical purposes.
The field of "green technology" encompasses a continuously evolving group of methods and materials, from techniques for generating energy to non-toxic cleaning products. The present expectation is that this field will bring innovation and changes in daily life of similar magnitude to the "information technology" explosion over the last two decades. In these early stages, it is impossible to predict what "green technology" may eventually encompass. Since, computers are used in almost all the fields, hence it is necessary to minimize the energy consumed by computers. So, our project is focused on reducing computer’s energy consumption, managing electronic waste. In this project, we have also Included the case study of IBM. Apart from all these we have also tried to proliferate general awareness among individuals and what we can do to consume less energy.
