MY REALIZATION TOWARDS MY DREAMS

“DREAMS - Maybe it's not about the happy ending. Maybe it's about the story behind it”

There is an inspiring quotation that tells that ”There is just one life for each of us: It’s our own.” There's this girl I know really well that I think you might like her nor hate her. She's good, pretty, bubbly and just a little bit crazy and rough. It’s easy to get to know her if you just give it a chance. I eventually keep some information of her throughout my speech, but for the purposes of this, I want to tell you a little about this girl. Who you ask ? I'm talking about myself, Ron Mariah Kristafer.

I was once afraid of people saying, “Who does she think she is?” Now I have the courage to stand and say, “This is who I am.” For those that don't know me well, let me synopsize my life.

My beginning as a legally recognized individual occurred on May 19, 1995. I was born on a warm, sunny day sixteen years ago on a little town of Pacita, somewhere in San Pedro, Laguna. I currently live at Greentown Villas 1, Mambog 3, Bacoor, Cavite. I live with those people who I can trust, that’s my mom, my dad, and my cute little brother Darill.

My father, originally named Dario Balobalo, but called as Dhar, was a Production Staff at Glyz Printing Services at Dasmarinas. My mother, originally named Jill Jacinto, sometimes called as Janis. She had studied at Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila, graduated with an Education Degree, a proud Customer Service Representative. My family life is calm and steady. My parents love me and hold the great expectation that I can establish my own career independently and live a happy life. With the motivation to improve the kind of life that we lived, both of my parents were the constant breadwinner of the family.

Of course I can't consciously remember anything from the first two or three years of my life after birth. All I know is I grew up as a so-called “Manileno” I spend my childhood years in Paco, Manila. But,...
