Hello there folks today we are going to be taking a fantastic voyage. My name is Sunita and I love traveling in my mini-submarine through the human body. The mini and I take great adventures every day and today we are going to go through the matezuation process, which converts us into eight microns long. We are about to be injected into the femoral vein of Sabrina a 30 year old female that went to the doctor today and discovered she might possibly have a bacterium invading the lower lobe of her right lung. Are you ready? Here we go!

Well, all systems are checked and we are ready to go find this bacterium and see what we can do to destroy it. The mini and I have been micronized and have be injected into Sabrina’s fermoral vein of the human body which is located in the upper right thigh and pelvic region of the body. This region runs close to the femoral aretery=. The femoral arety is one of the larger veins in the circulatory system. The function of the femoral vein is that it takes the blood in the leg to the heart via the iliac vein. Now we will continue to go on our journey and we will be passing through the awesome ignunal ligament. The ignunal ligament is a band of tissue that runs from the hip to the pubic bone in the groin. It specifically attaches from the pubic tubercle on the pubic bone to the anterior superior illiac crest, which is located on the pelvis. It also the base of the ignual canal, where hernia’s usually form. The primary function of the inguinal ligament is to protect tissue that is constantly moving in the trunk and lower extremities of the body (Yahoo Health, 2012).

Ok folks, We then continue in the pelvic region and watch blood get carried away from organs by a special set of vessels that lead into the internal iliac veins.
