A person’s diet is based on a variety of different reasons some that include religious, moral, political beliefs, economics, health and more. A vegetarian diet is a meal plan that contains little or no animal products. Some will argue that a diet without meat is not nutritious enough and will leave a person lacking a well balanced diet. In fact though you can a healthy diet that can be cheaper, easy, and non-harmful towards animals.

Meat eaters can argue that being vegetarian is consequently harder when it comes to choosing a meal at home or at a restaurant because almost every meal nowadays contains some type of animal product, but on the contrary, as more people are turning vegetarian the restaurants have to keep up with the demands of the public and the restaurants are doing this well, note even McDonalds has a veggie burger! It even costs less than half as much to eat vegetarian as it does meat that is why a lot of vegetarians are students There are tasty, nutritious and easy to prepare vegetarian dishes that take the same amount of time and effort to prepare as meat dishes. Meat may arguably taste good, but it certainly costs a lot and is a wasteful source of resources, if you are to remove meat from a diet, an array of new foods and menus pop up.

The biggest argument is that this diet does not provide sufficient amount of protein, but vegetarian’s main substitute for protein is tofu and soy, tofu in fact contains more protein than meat per 100 grams. Other great sources of protein also can come from legumes. Also, on average people consume five times too much protein than considered necessary; this can be dangerous because it can cause serious illness and the extra amount of protein in the body turns into fat. The only problem with protein in a vegetarian diet is to make a complete protein (containing all essential amino acids). To make it complete all the person needs to do is mix to incomplete proteins together when they eat. Although vegetarians lack...
