Executive Summary
Implementing legal debt collection software at Larry Enkelmann, LLC can prove to be a very lucrative business strategy. The current filing system used by the firm is time-consuming, costly, and requires quite a bit of space. The firm currently operates as it did 30 years ago when it was first established. While, the system in place does work effectively, it is efficient. Purchasing and putting to use software specifically designed for legal file management can benefit the firm tremendously.
There are always alternatives to the way things currently are. A fair bit of research has been done and compiled into a detailed report regarding the benefits of legal debt collection software. First, time and resources used to locating files will diminish almost completely. Second, any and all information regarding a case will be right at our fingertips. Third, expenses on office supplies; including: ink, paper, and storage materials; will decrease. Fourth, revenues and productivity will increase allowing expansion.
Introduction:
Statement of Problem: Our file management system is a bit out of date. There are not many firms in our area of law that still use the “old system” consisting of filing cabinets and paper files to track judgments. Just by working in our office on a day-to-day basis and continually learning new portions of our office, this is not the most efficient way we can be operating.
