Critical Thinking

I never would think critical thinking would be so important in life until I took this class and it really helped a lot. Critical thinking is questioning assumptions, and not taking things face value. Critical thinking is an important and vital topic in modern education.

In this class I have learned that critical thinking is the process of using reasoning to discern what is true, and what is not true. There are many more other factors in critical thinking that you have to take into consideration like logical fallacies also separating the two fact form opinion, being fair and open minded, also asking questions not just to yourself among others. Clarifying your thinking at all times are on the look-out for vague, fuzzy, formless, blurred thinking. Try figuring out the real meaning of what people are saying. Explain the understanding of an issue and make sure you understand them correctly. You also should not disagree or agree with people says the reason because you have to make sure you understands them correctly. Make sure you focus on what will aid you into solving a problem, assumptions, and most of all important information. But before I took this class I was getting confuse of the two issues, and problems I thought they were the same but I found out in this class it is two different things. My weakness would be assumption because I tend to always assume something, or about someone and it comes out that they are not what I thought they were. I have noticed since I have been in this class I do not jump to conclusion like I use to before this class also I tend not to think as much, and knowing for sure about something.

I would consider myself in the category of Advanced Thinker. The reason I tend to over think and analyze everything. I tend to think about things way too much at times. I like to think about things from different perspective. I like to think to myself as the...
