A True Friend

Friendship is an essential aspect of human life, and in some cases, it determines a person’s personality. A true friend is defined by many as one that is not hostile, or one attached to another by affection or esteem, a favored companion, but real friendship is more than just two people being friendly with each other. A true friend is some one that will stand by you, and will help you stand up when life knock you out and always be present in the most important and happiest moments of our lives. There are several qualities a person must have in order to be considered as true friend, which are honesty and most importantly trust.

Honesty is express every second, minute, hour, and day of our lives, but the most important place where it should be shown is in friendships. Many think that honesty is somewhat important in a friendship, but the reality is that honesty is that building block of any friendship, is what hold everything together, and keeps a friendship from falling apart. A true friend will always be true to his or her word no matter the consequences. For instance, an honest friend will never lie to his or her best friend even if it means losing his or her friendship. Also a true friend with a strong sense of honesty will do anything in its hands to keep his or her friend honest and away from dishonest persons. Furthermore, an honest friend will let his friend know that not finishing homework or drinking too much can affect him in the present and future, and that true friend will help his friend to find the best way to understand and rectify his problem. Honesty is the most important quality to look for in a friend because if you have honesty it will bring many other great qualities along with it.
