This week, students explore how management, leadership, and organizational structure positively and negatively influence a business. Students examine a specific failure within a company. They also explore OB theories to outline the roles leaders and managers’ play and the skills required for success in those positions.

Purpose of Assignment

By familiarizing themselves with a business failure, students begin to assimilate OB theories into their business philosophies to determine the definition of a successful manager and leader. Students also gain an understanding of how organizational structure can impact a company both positively and negatively.
