Dear CPT Clemente,

Your FRG requests your approval to hold a fund-raising activity. We are planning to have a Dunk Tank Fundraiser to be done on the “Battalion Sports Day”. This is to be held at the Sky Striker field near Battalion Headquarters on May 8, 2009 from 13:00 to 16:00.

We will provide the opportunity for people to dunk their LEADERS by purchasing three balls for one dollar to anyone in the area wishing to participant. We will have a signup sheet for them to fill in who they want to try and dunk. We will keep accurate records of each person who gets called out to be dunked. Each battery will receive the allotted amount of money raised for their battery’s FRG fund. We will set up and clean the military facility after this event.

The funds raised for our battery will be used for our Solider and Family Dinner and Bowling Event which is tentatively planned to be held June 23, 2009 at the Pope Air Force Base Bowling Alley.

This activity will provide a refreshing treat to our soldiers as they enjoy their bonding time with their fellow soldiers from other battery’s and strengthen our unit Family Program.
