Introduction
This research paper is on the Niokolo-Koba National Park, an ecological property on the World Heritage in Danger List on the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Web site at http://whc.unesco.org/en/danger. Niokolo-Koba National Park was created as a hunting reserve in 1926 and a national park in1954.The variety of life forms found in the park will be described. How the life forms interrelate with each other is explained. How Niokolo-Koba National Park is harmed by the intrusion of humans is detailed. The existing protections to safeguard and preserve the area are discussed. Efforts to further the preservation of the Niokolo-Koba National Park are addressed. How we can help in the preservation of the Niokolo-Koba National Park is presented.

a. Mammals
There are 80 species of mammal in the park.
Among the carnivores in the park are the leopard, lion and wild dog. Buffalo, roan, giant eland, Guinea baboon, green monkey and patas monkey inhabit the park (Niokolo-Koba National Park, 2008).
