Egoism Principle
I feel that in this situation that Mr. Espinal was thinking of only himself and how he could save thousands of dollars by removing barrels of hazardous and dangerous materials. He had them removed and abandoned in a rock quarry. Joelle noticed what was going on asked Mr. Espinal for information and was told it was a company secret and not to say a word about what she knew. He mentioned that by saving this money for not properly disposing of the materials he could hire high school student’s part time. (Goree, edition 2)
Principle of Rights
Joelle and the company’s rights were not consider in his decision making. She was asked to keep a secret that would or could potentially harm others. Mr. Espinal violated the Principle of Rights, the action is considered moral when it respects the rights of others and is considered immoral when it violates another’s rights. (Goree. edition 2)
Principle of Duties
Mr. Espinal has the duty not to pollute the environment where children go and ride their bikes. He has the moral obligation to do what is ethically right. He disposed of hazardous waste which is morally, ethically, and illegal.

Mr. Espinal had only his interest in mind and was not concerned with how his decision could affect others around him. He has a moral obligation to do the right thing to protect the rights of others. Mr. Espinal should act in a way that he would like others to act. He asked her for an unethical request and now she is legally obligated to bring this to...
