Dear Bro. Dennis,

“How blessed is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding. For her profit is better than the profit of silver And her gain better than fine gold.” - Proverbs 3:13-17

Thousands of Filipinos today face a future of uncertainty, doubt and fear, not only due to the challenges brought about by the economic demands of life but also the formidable economic forces affecting our economy and their future.

We at Sun Life of Canada Philippines believe that this situation cannot be attributed to the lack of opportunities available to Filipinos, rather, to a gap in knowledge and wisdom in the management of personal finances.

Sun Life understands that knowledge and wisdom go hand in hand. We believe that the answer lies in educating Filipinos and their families in the area of personal economics and finance. As such, we have very recently embarked on a financial literacy campaign that aims to enlighten Filipinos in this area. Our tuition-free MoneyWise Workshop series on Financial Planning and Investment Basics provide audiences with an appreciation of their financial situation, the financial challenges that they face on a daily basis, as well as those in the horizon. After a discussion on the challenges, we go the extra mile and learners explore the ways and means to manage their money and prepare for their future.

We would like to invite you and the De La Salle Zobel organization to partner with Sun Life of Canada Philippines in this noble endeavour that transcends current challenges with financial literacy and education. Needless to say, we would consider it a great privilege to be given the opportunity to partner with one of the most esteemed educational institutions in the country.

We look forward to your kind acceptance...
